Kalat: An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale struck southwest Pakistan today.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the epicentre was at a depth of 40 kilometres. Tremors were felt in the districts of Kalat, Zhob, and other parts of Balochistan province.
No casualties or material damage were reported.
