Drone Targets Kuwait Int’l Airport, Causes Minor Injuries

Kuwait city: The Public Authority for Civil Aviation in the State of Kuwait reported that a drone targeted Kuwait International Airport, resulting in minor injuries to several employees and limited material damage to Terminal 1 (T1). According to Bahrain News Agency, the Directorate's official spokesperson, Abdullah Al Rajhi, informed KUNA that the relevant authorities swiftly implemented approved emergency procedures. The incident was managed effectively, and the site was secured. Efforts for assessment, repair, and restoration of operations are currently in progress, adhering to the highest safety standards. Al Rajhi stressed that the situation is fully controlled by the relevant authorities in the country, highlighting that the safety of passengers and employees remains a top priority. He assured that the Directorate will provide the media with updates as soon as they become available through official channels.
