Manama: Dr. Abdullah Al Shreika, Director of the Centre for Moderation Promotion at Kuwait's Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and member of the European Coordinating Council of Wise Scholars (AMAL), highlighted the significance of the Intra-Islamic Dialogue Conference, titled "One Nation, One Shared Destiny," held in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He noted that the event underscores the need to promote a culture of peaceful coexistence and unity.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Shreika commended the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, emphasising that the conference stands out as an event that gathers high-level scholars and focuses on religious, political, and economic issues. He stressed the importance of Islamic unity in countering discord, extremism, and sectarianism, adding that collective Islamic efforts contribute to the well-being of the Islamic nation.
Dr. Al Shreika described the event as a key platform for exchanging ideas and developing effective recommendations that serve the interests of the entire Islamic nation.
