According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Khalid bin Rashid highlighted the Kingdom of Bahrain's Alternative Sentencing Programme, which has gained recognition both regionally and internationally. The programme is known for its role in promoting humane justice, supporting human resource development, and aiding in the social reintegration of individuals.

These accomplishments are a reflection of the vision of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and have received support from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The programme's advancement has also been driven by the efforts of General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, who has implemented innovative rehabilitation strategies aligned with international standards.
