Manama: The Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat) hosted a Bahraini-Singaporean discussion session. Dr. Hamad Ebrahim Al Abdullah, Executive Director of Derasat, highlighted the centre's publications, research initiatives, international partnerships, and upcoming events.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Mohamad Maliki bin Osman, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office, Second Minister for Education, and Second Minister for Foreign Affairs in Singapore, commended Derasat's role in encouraging dialogue and cooperation across various research sectors. He emphasised Derasat's contributions to knowledge exchange and creative thinking in the region.
The session focused on exploring means for collaboration between Derasat and research institutions in Singapore. Both sides emphasised the importance of joint initiatives that leverage their strengths to enhance research capabilities and expertise.
Participants exchanged views on potential areas of cooperation and expressed their eagerness to establish future partnerships that strengthen research ties across multiple sectors.
