Manama: Abdulla Mohamed Alahmed, Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat), welcomed a delegation comprising staff members from the United States Congress and Senate.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Alahmed emphasized the enduring Bahrain-US partnership, which is built on strong cooperation in areas such as regional security, sustainable development, and knowledge exchange. The delegation engaged in comprehensive discussions with Derasat researchers, examining significant research programs and strategic initiatives that focus on mutual interests. These discussions covered topics such as regional security, energy transitions, and technological innovation.
During their visit, the delegation also toured Derasat's Artificial Intelligence Renewable Energy (AIRE) Lab, where they received briefings on ongoing projects. Both parties reaffirmed the strength of the Bahrain-US relationship, recognizing it as an exemplary strategic partnership that contributes to security, stability, and enhanced research collaboration.
