Deputy Prime Minister Receives Newly Appointed Bahraini Ambassadors

Manama: Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, received the newly appointed ambassadors of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The ambassadors are Dr. Mohammed Ali Behzad, Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium; Khalil Yaqoub Al Khayyat, Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand; and Ahmed Ibrahim Al Qurainees, Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah emphasised that Bahrain continues to strengthen ties with friendly nations, noting that its foreign policy has long been based on openness and constructive cooperation. This approach aligns with the Kingdom's development goals under His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah congratulated the ambassadors on the royal trust, commending their competence and diplomatic expertise, which will help strengthen Bahrain's presence and standing in the countries where they will serve. He highlighted the importance of fulfilling their responsibility to protect the interests of Bahraini citizens abroad and ensure they receive necessary support and care.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah urged the ambassadors to strengthen efforts to expand cooperation with their host countries. He emphasised Bahrain's commitment to moderation and constructive international engagement, wishing them success in fulfilling their national duties with professionalism and dedication.

For their part, the ambassadors affirmed their commitment to enhancing Bahrain's international presence and advancing cooperation with friendly countries in line with shared aspirations and goals.
