Manama: Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain, received Bakhtiyor dilovich Saidov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Bahrain's Minister of Foreign Affairs.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah highlighted the advanced state of Bahrain-Uzbekistan relations and reiterated the commitment of both nations to expand cooperation in key sectors such as tourism, logistics, food security, and renewable energy. He emphasized Bahrain's dedication to strengthening ties with Central Asian countries, noting that this is a crucial step in diversifying its international partnerships.
Shaikh Khalid further noted that high-level engagements are essential for advancing cooperation, fostering mutual respect and shared interests, and contributing to regional and international stability and development. On the other hand, Minister Saidov expressed Uzbekistan's eagerness to enhance cooperation with Bahrain across various sectors and conveyed his wishes for the Kingdom's continued progress and prosperity.
