Manama: Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain, received Merna Khawly, the outgoing Charg© d'Affaires of the Lebanese Embassy in Bahrain, highlighting the enduring ties between the two nations.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah emphasized Bahrain's commitment to advancing its relationship with Lebanon, focusing on various areas of mutual interest. He reiterated Bahrain's unwavering support for Lebanon's sovereignty, stability, and territorial integrity and praised Khawly's efforts in bolstering bilateral relations during her tenure.

Shaikh Khalid acknowledged the significant contributions made by Khawly, which have helped enhance cooperation between Bahrain and Lebanon, benefiting both countries and their citizens. He extended his best wishes for her future endeavors.

In response, Khawly expressed gratitude for the support extended by numerous authorities in Bahrain during her time in the Kingdom. She wished Bahrain continued success and prosperity.
