Deputy Prime Minister Meets GCC Literary, Cultural Union Leaders at Fourth Gulf Cultural Forum

Manama: Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister, met with GCC literary and cultural union leaders attending the Fourth Gulf Cultural Forum. The forum was organised by the Bahrain Writers Association in cooperation with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities. The meeting was attended by Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla emphasised the importance of literature and culture in the Kingdom of Bahrain's development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted Bahrain's long-standing role as a cultural hub and its commitment to preserving heritage and further developing regional identity.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla emphasised the Kingdom's commitment to supporting Gulf cultural initiatives that enrich the literary scene and promote dialogue among intellectuals. He wished the participants success in achieving their goals.

Dr. Al Noaimi commended the efforts of the Deputy Prime Minister in promoting literature and the arts, noting the growing cultural collaboration among Gulf nations. Dr. Rashed Najem, President of the Bahrain Writers Association and forum organiser, expressed appreciation for the Deputy Prime Minister's support, acknowledging his contributions to the Kingdom's literary and cultural landscape.
