Deputy Prime Minister Meets ACUD Chairman to Strengthen Bahrain-Egypt Relations

Manama: Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, received Khaled Abbas, Chairman and Managing Director of the Administrative Capital for Urban Development Company (ACUD) in Egypt, on the sidelines of the Innovation Summit in the Social Housing Sector. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah highlighted the longstanding historical relations between Bahrain and Egypt, emphasizing their representation as a model of Arab integration and bilateral cooperation across various domains.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Deputy Prime Minister credited the strength of these relations to the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, both committed to enhancing ties to benefit their countries and peoples. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah expressed Bahrain's pride in Egypt's developmental trajectory, noting its determined efforts in economic and investment development as a foundation for sustainable growth.

The Deputy Prime Minister recalled his visit to Egypt's New Administrative Capital, describing it as a project reflecting Egypt's ambitious vision for the future. He noted the city's advanced infrastructure and facilities, making it a model of integrated urban development that aligns with high standards of quality of life and service sustainability, opening broad prospects for investment opportunities.

The meeting explored ways to enhance cooperation in shared areas of interest, particularly in urban development, planning, and infrastructure advancement. Both parties emphasized the importance of exchanging technical expertise and knowledge to support major development projects in their countries and benefit from best practices in this vital domain.

Khaled Abbas expressed gratitude to the Deputy Prime Minister for the invitation to speak at the Innovation in Social Housing Conference. He conveyed his wishes for further progress and prosperity for the Kingdom.
