Manama: Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain, held a meeting with Dr. Essam Al Rubaiaan, the Chief of the Civil Services Commission in Kuwait. The discussion centered on enhancing cooperation between Bahrain and Kuwait in civil service and public administration sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting underscored the strong, longstanding ties between the two nations, which continue to flourish under the leadership of Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Kuwait's Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah. Shaikh Khalid highlighted the importance of this bilateral relationship, emphasizing the need to bolster collaboration in human resource development, expertise exchange, and the adoption of best practices in civil service systems.
The Deputy Prime Minister advocated for the expansion of joint training initiatives to boost administrative development and increase public sector efficiency. The session was also attended by Shaikh Duaij bin Salman bin Duaij Al Khalifa, President of the Civil Service Bureau, and Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration.
Dr. Al Rubaiaan praised Bahrain's initiatives to modernize its civil service and improve government performance. He reiterated Kuwait's commitment to maintaining cooperation with Bahrain in pursuit of shared objectives aimed at developing national capabilities and promoting sustainable institutional growth.
