Riyadh: Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister, met with His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court. The meeting was held as part of his visit to Riyadh, assigned by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to lead Bahrain's delegation at the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit. The summit, hosted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, addressed the ongoing Israeli aggression in Palestine and Lebanon, as well as current regional developments and their implications. According to Bahrain News Agency, the Deputy Prime Minister underscored the longstanding and historic ties between Bahrain and the UAE, emphasising the shared history and strengthened ties under the leadership of His Majesty the King and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. Shaikh Khalid highlighted the steady progress of Bahrain-UAE relations, noting tha t shared efforts in partnership, integration, and coordinated initiatives are driving prosperity for both countries. He also commended the UAE's key role in promoting regional and global stability, advancing peace, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence. The meeting included discussions on topics of mutual interest and the latest regional and international developments.
