Deputy Prime Minister Chairs Weekly Cabinet Meeting at Gudaibiya Palace.

Manama: The Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, chaired the weekly Cabinet Meeting at Gudaibiya Palace. During the meeting, the Cabinet affirmed the significance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's visit to the United Kingdom and his meeting with King Charles III, highlighting over 200 years of strong Bahrain-UK relations. According to Bahrain News Agency, the Cabinet congratulated HM the King on receiving the Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order. The meeting underscored the importance of the address given by HM the King at a dinner banquet hosted by King Charles III, which highlighted the deep-rooted Bahrain-UK partnership and King Charles III's commendation of HM the King's achievements over the past 25 years. The Cabinet extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa on the success of the seventh edition of the Bahrain International Airshow 2024. The Cabinet ackno wledged the Airshow's accomplishments as part of the Kingdom's achievements under HM the King's 25-year reign and commended efforts to enhance the Airshow's regional prestige. Further, the Cabinet congratulated HM the King and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad on the success of the sixth edition of the Bahrain International Trophy, noting robust international participation. The Cabinet praised the organisational efforts of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club. The Cabinet emphasized the importance of Bahrain's address at the Extraordinary Arab Islamic Summit, advocating for peace in the Middle East and resolving the Palestinian conflict. The address also commended Saudi Arabia's leadership in ensuring the summit's success. Additionally, the Cabinet extended congratulations to the Sultanate of Oman on their National Day, recognizing Oman's development under His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al-Said. The Cabinet also discussed and approved several memorandums, including projects related to financing, lega l affairs, and urban development. The meeting reviewed a memorandum from the Minister of Foreign Affairs in preparation for the upcoming 162nd GCC Ministerial Council session. The Cabinet noted various ministerial reports on Bahrain's participation in international forums and conferences.
