Manama: Major-General Dr. Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Police, chaired the Bahraini side in the seventh meeting of the Security Committee Working Team affiliated with the Security Coordination Committee under the Bahraini-Saudi Coordination Council. The meeting aimed to bolster the security relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Saudi delegation was led by Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al Issa, Director General of Legal Affairs and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Interior. The Deputy Chief of Police stressed the significance of ongoing security cooperation and coordination between the two nations, highlighting their deep-rooted relations. This collaboration is essential for advancing joint security efforts and exchanging expertise, which is crucial for achieving mutual interests and maintaining regional security and stability.
During the meeting, attendees reviewed the progress and accomplishments of the Security Committee's initiatives. Discussions also focused on the agenda items aimed at enhancing joint security cooperation to address evolving security developments and challenges.
