Denmark, Slovenia opener ends with 1-1 at UEFA EURO ’24


The Danish national football team ended their opening match with Slovenian counterpart 1-1 on Sunday in the tournament’s first stage of the UEFA EURO 2024, held in Germany.

In MHPArena stadium in Stuttgart, the Danish national team scored the first goal in the 16th minute through Christian Eriksen.

The Danish players managed to control most of the match until the end of the second half.

However, at the 76th minute, the Slovenian national team defender Erik Janza spoiled Denmark’s joy by scoring the equalizer.
