Manama: Robert De Haan secured pole position for both races of Round 5 in the Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East, held as part of the support races for the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2025 at Bahrain International Circuit.
According to Bahrain News Agency, De Haan posted the fastest qualifying lap at 2:03.990 minutes and the second-fastest at 2:04.106 minutes, earning pole for both races in line with championship regulations, which use the fastest time for the first race and the second-fastest for the second.
De Haan will start first in the Pro category, while Khaled Alahmadi and Bankcy will start from pole in the ProAm and Masters categories respectively in Race 1.
The second race is scheduled for 11:45 a.m. and will see Saud Al Saud starting first in the Pro category.
