Manama: Shaikh Daij bin Salman bin Daij Al Khalifa, President of the Civil Service Bureau (CSB), met with directors of human resources departments in government entities following the issuance of the decision to organise shared HR services and transfer them under CSB. Shaikh Daij bin Salman emphasised the importance of continued integration and unified efforts in human resources management to support the Kingdom of Bahrain's comprehensive development process, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Daij bin Salman highlighted the need for effective coordination between ministries and the Bureau to ensure the consistent application of HR regulations and maintain professionalism and transparency in government operations. He noted that institutional development requires a flexible administrative structure grounded in efficiency, governance, and investment in national talent.
The President described the decision as a qualitative shift towards a unified administrative framework that enhances excellence and improves performance, reflecting the Kingdom's continued support for developing and sustaining government work. Shaikh Daij bin Salman noted the decision's role in optimising human capital through the restructuring and standardisation of HR policies and procedures in line with global best practices, ensuring fairness, transparency, and equal opportunities for employees across all government entities.
The meeting reviewed modern strategies in human resources management and development, including digital transformation of administrative processes and the adoption of technical solutions that streamline procedures and enhance the employee experience. Discussions also addressed the importance of investing in training and development, and empowering national talent through sustainable professional programmes tailored to current and future needs.
Shaikh Daij bin Salman commended the efforts of HR teams and underscored the Bureau's continued support to all entities in fostering a government work environment based on competence, fairness, and accountability, in support of strategic objectives and overall government performance.
