CSB Launches Updated “Government Employee” App with New Performance Evaluation Service

Manama: The Civil Service Bureau (CSB), in cooperation with the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA), launched a new update to the "Government Employee" app. The update introduces a service that enables civil servants to view detailed performance evaluation results for the past three years, in recognition of its significance for supporting digital transformation efforts, enhancing transparency, and motivating employees to improve their performance.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the CSB explained that the new service allows users to view evaluation results for the last three years and to download the corresponding reports in PDF format. It complements existing app features, such as viewing attendance records (with options to apply for late-arrival or early-departure permissions), and an administrative reporting service that lets employees and non-employees submit reports directly to the relevant government authorities.

These new functions were selected based on precise criteria that respond to the needs of employees. The app is now one of the Bureau's principal digital channels for service delivery, flexibly and rapidly.

It helps reduce paper-based procedures, improves data access efficiency, and represents a qualitative leap in bolstering government service efficiency by saving time and effort for employees through immediate information and notifications via a user-friendly digital platform.
