Manama:His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has issued Edict (54) of 2026 to restructure the Government Land Investment Committee.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the committee will be led by the Undersecretary for Research and Projects at the Prime Minister's Office. The members include the Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Information at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, who will serve as Deputy Chairman, the Director-General of Land Registration at the Survey and Land Registration Bureau, the Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Real Estate Investment (Edamah), the Director-General of the Housing Bank, the Chief Investment Officer of the Bahrain Economic Development Board, the Director of the Projects Directorate at the Prime Minister's Office, the Director of the Plans Implementation Directorate at the Urban Planning and Development Authority, Marwan Khaled Tabbara, and Mohammed Nabeel Mohammed Abulfateh.
The committee members will serve a four-year term. The provisions of the edict are to be implemented by the relevant authorities and will be effective immediately from the date of issuance.
