Crown Prince of Bahrain Meets with Newly Appointed US Naval Commander

Riffa: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, met with Vice Admiral Curt A. Renshaw, the newly appointed Commander of the United States Naval Forces Central Command, the U.S. Fifth Fleet, and the Combined Maritime Forces, at Riffa Palace.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness highlighted the ongoing partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, emphasizing its progress across various sectors, particularly in military and defense. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister reiterated Bahrain's commitment to enhancing joint cooperation and coordination, focusing on building upon the accomplishments of existing agreements, including the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA).

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad extended his best wishes to Vice Admiral Renshaw for success in his new role. His Royal Highness also acknowledged the United States' significant role, alongside its allies, in promoting regional security, stability, and global development efforts.

The meeting involved discussions on mutual interests, strategies to strengthen the bilateral partnership, and the latest regional and international developments. His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, was also present at the meeting.
