Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, today met with His Excellency Faisal Akef Al-Fayez, President of the Senate of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, at Gudaibiya Palace. The meeting underscored the longstanding relationship between Bahrain and Jordan, emphasizing the ongoing support from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of Jordan.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister stressed the importance of enhancing joint coordination, particularly in executive and legislative sectors, to foster bilateral relations and promote national growth. He praised King Abdullah II's efforts in strengthening Bahrain-Jordan ties and acknowledged Jordan's support for Bahrain against hostile Iranian actions.
HRH the Crown Prince reaffirmed Bahrain's support for Jordan's measures to maintain its sovereignty, security, and stability. The discussions also covered ways to further develop bilateral relations and reviewed regional and international developments of mutual interest.
HE Al-Fayez expressed his appreciation for HRH the Crown Prince's dedication to advancing cooperation between the two nations and conveyed his wishes for Bahrain's continued progress and prosperity. The meeting was attended by HE Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, HE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, along with other senior officials.
