Crown Prince and Prime Minister Visits Ramadan Majlises to Highlight Bahrain’s Development

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, made visits to several prominent Ramadan majlises. The visits included those of His Excellency Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force, as well as the Al-Musallam and Al Zayani families. According to Bahrain News Agency, His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court, was also present during the visit to the majlis of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa. His Royal Highness expressed that dedication to the Kingdom of Bahrain is essential for achieving national successes and contributing to the nation's development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasized that Bahrain's developmental ambitions are limitless, expressing confidence in the country's workforce, which has shown its capability to enhance the Kingdom's competitiveness and strengthen its leading position across various fields. He noted that the partnership between the Executive and Legislative Branches has significantly impacted achieving numerous successes that have benefited the Kingdom and its citizens. His Royal Highness highlighted the collective dedication of Team Bahrain in advancing the goals of Bahrain's Economic Vision, notably increasing the national economy more than fivefold since 2000. He mentioned that the launch of Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030 in 2008 further accelerated this growth and supported economic diversification. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister reiterated Bahrain's commitment to implementing programs aimed at developing sectors that bolster economic growth and provide more opportunities for citizens by expanding employment prospects. He underlined the ongoing efforts to provide and develop social services for citizens and the optimal use of national resources to meet Bahrainis' needs. During the visits, His Royal Highness exchanged Ramadan greetings w ith the hosts and attendees, underscoring the significance of the holy month for Muslims. He reaffirmed the Kingdom's commitment to maintaining mosques across all governorates through plans for opening and renovating them, recognizing their role in facilitating prayers and reinforcing religious values within Bahraini society. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad noted the importance of Ramadan majlises in strengthening societal cohesion and harmony and stressed the need to preserve these customs for future generations. The heads of the majlises expressed their gratitude for His Royal Highness' continued engagement with the community and conveyed their wishes for the Kingdom's ongoing progress and prosperity. Present at the visits were His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and several senior officials.
