Manama:His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, visited the Ministry of Information and the National Communication Centre (NCC). During the visit, he emphasized the significance of developing the Kingdom's media sector to align with the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed gratitude towards the national workforce at the Ministry of Information and the NCC for their dedication amid the challenges posed by hostile Iranian aggression. He commended their professionalism and readiness in overcoming various challenges and highlighted the media's role in fostering national unity and countering misinformation.
Prince Salman conveyed the greetings and appreciation of His Majesty the King to those working in the media sector and praised their commitment to their roles. He stressed the importance of collaboration and integration within Team Bahrain to achieve the Kingdom's goals and aspirations.
The Crown Prince also met with editors-in-chief of local newspapers, extending his thanks for their efforts during the Iranian aggression. He underscored the need for continuous development in the media sector to enhance Bahrain's national and international media presence.
During the visit, HRH Prince Salman was briefed on the operations at the Ministry of Information and the NCC. He acknowledged the efforts of the officials and personnel in implementing key media and communications strategies and expressed his wishes for their continued success.
His Excellency Dr Ramzan bin Abdullah Al-Noaimi, Minister of Information, expressed pride in the recognition from His Majesty the King and appreciation for the Crown Prince's commendations. He affirmed that these commendations motivate the media sector to uphold high standards of professionalism and accountability.
The Crown Prince was accompanied by several senior officials, including His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, and His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, among others.
