Manama:His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, held a meeting with His Royal Highness Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, the Crown Prince of Johor, Malaysia.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting took place as part of Prince Salman's attendance at the 2026 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, which is being hosted in Malaysia. This event marks the 22nd edition of the Grand Prix, held with the blessings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia.
Prince Salman emphasized the longstanding relationship between Bahrain and Malaysia, highlighting its strength across various levels. He also noted the continued support from both King Hamad and the King of Malaysia in fostering cooperation and coordination between the two nations, which is aimed at achieving shared aspirations and development.
The Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed gratitude to Malaysia for their collaboration in ensuring the success of the Grand Prix, which reflects the robust ties between the countries. He reiterated the mutual commitment to enhancing bilateral partnerships and cooperation.
During their discussion, the Crown Princes also touched upon recent regional and international developments, as well as issues of mutual interest. Tunku Ismail expressed appreciation for Prince Salman's dedication to advancing bilateral relations and cooperation to meet the shared goals of both nations and their peoples.
