Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain Meets Egyptian President to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Cairo: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, met with His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, as part of an official visit to Egypt. The meeting underscored the enduring relationship and strategic partnership between Bahrain and Egypt, which is rooted in a long history of mutual respect.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH Prince Salman emphasized the growth of multi-sectoral collaboration, supported by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and President El-Sisi, aiming to achieve shared aspirations and deliver benefits for both nations. The Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of the King of Bahrain to the Egyptian President, along with wishes for continued progress and prosperity for Egypt. President El-Sisi reciprocated with greetings to the King of Bahrain, expressing similar wishes for the Kingdom's growth and prosperity.

The Crown Prince highlighted the strong bonds between the two countries, reinforced through mutual agreements and strategic partnerships. He underscored the importance of building upon cooperation to achieve shared goals. The discussions during the meeting included avenues to enhance bilateral cooperation, regional and international developments, and topics of common interest, affirming mutual support for promoting international peace and stability.

HRH Prince Salman reiterated the commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause, advocating for a just and lasting solution that guarantees the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. The Crown Prince also stressed the importance of de-escalation, protection of civilians, release of hostages, and continuation of humanitarian aid to Gaza, commending Egypt's significant humanitarian role in collaboration with allied countries.

HRH Prince Salman praised Egypt's accomplishments under President El-Sisi's leadership and expressed wishes for further progress and success for Egypt.
