Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has issued Edict (17) of 2025, mandating the transfer of human resources and financial directors from various ministries across the Kingdom to the Ministry of Finance and National Economy. This move follows a proposal from the Minister of Finance and National Economy and subsequent approval by the Cabinet.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the edict details the transfer of several individuals to the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, where they will take on the role of Director of Human Resources and Finance under the Assistant Undersecretary for Shared Financial Services. Among those transferred are Sarah Anees Mohammed Al Ruwaie from the Supreme Council for Environment Executive Body and Mozon Abdulaziz Ghuloom Al Majed from the National Bureau for Revenue, along with 20 other directors from various government entities.
The edict further stipulates that the Minister of Finance and National Economy will assign these directors to oversee human resources and financial management in any government entity in the Kingdom. They will be subject to existing regulations governing shared financial services employees, provided there is no conflict with human resources functions.
The decision calls for all ministers and relevant officials to implement the edict, which will become effective the day after its publication in the Official Gazette.
