California: A crew of four astronauts from NASA's Crew-10 mission departed the International Space Station on Friday aboard SpaceX's Dragon capsule, heading for a landing off the coast of California.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the crew comprises US astronauts Nicole Mann and Anne McClain, Japanese astronaut Takuya Onishi, and Russian cosmonaut Kirill Piskov. They embarked on their mission on March 14, spending 146 days conducting more than 200 scientific experiments in the unique microgravity environment of the ISS.
The returning astronauts are bringing back sensitive research that was conducted during their mission. Meanwhile, astronaut Butch Wilmore, who was part of the Crew-9 mission, announced his retirement from NASA after a 25-year career.
