St. Petersburg: Dana Khamis Al Zayani, Undersecretary for planning and family reconciliation and alimony at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, participated in the 13th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum (SPILF 2025) recently held in the Russian Federation under the theme "The Law: Lessons of the Past for the World of the Future."
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Zayani presented the Kingdom of Bahrain's experience in the area of private enforcement. She was joined by Yevgeny Zabarchuk, Deputy Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation, as well as other ministers, officials from various countries, and a group of legal experts and specialists.
On the sidelines of the forum, Al Zayani met with Dmitry Vasilyevich Aristov, Director of the Federal Bailiff Service (FBS) of the Russian Federation. During their meeting, they discussed opportunities for cooperation on matters of shared interest.
The forum addressed means to enhance bilateral cooperation among participating justice ministries. It reviewed key experiences and applications in the fields of law, human rights protection, and the rule of law. The event also featured discussion panels, awareness platforms, and the latest initiatives in the justice sector.
