Council of Representatives Secretary-General Discusses Cooperation with Turkish Counterpart

Manama: Mohammed Ibrahim Al Sisi Al Buainain, Secretary-General of the Council of Representatives, met with Talip Uzun, Secretary-General of the Grand National Assembly of Trkiye, to discuss parliamentary cooperation and the exchange of best practices to enhance institutional operations and legislative work.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Buainain reaffirmed the Council Secretariat's commitment to improving performance, enhancing service quality, and integrating technology in parliamentary work. This commitment aligns with the directives of Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, and Al Buainain emphasized the importance of showcasing Bahrain's legislative achievements. These efforts are part of the country's comprehensive development process, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The meeting also focused on the implementation of the cooperation protocol signed between the Council of Representatives and the Grand National Assembly of Trkiye during Speaker Al Musallam's recent visit. Furthermore, the Bahraini delegation had the opportunity to tour the Turkish Parliament's General Secretariat to review its parliamentary division, member support services, and operational structure.
