Manama: Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), met with senior BDF officers, in the presence of Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff. The meeting focused on reviewing the combat readiness and operational preparedness levels of all BDF services and units.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Commander-in-Chief emphasized the importance of the support from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, alongside the ongoing involvement of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister. This backing has been pivotal in the BDF's ongoing efforts toward development and modernization through comprehensive preparation plans and advanced training programs.
The Commander-in-Chief highlighted the BDF's commitment to maintaining high levels of operational efficiency and combat readiness. This is achieved through the incorporation of advanced weapons systems and modern defense capabilities across various services and units, which aids in safeguarding the Kingdom, protecting its achievements, and preserving its development gains.
