Manama: Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), received Brigadier Dr. Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Medical Services (RMS), following the Royal Decree issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, promoting him to the rank of Major General (Medical).
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Commander-in-Chief congratulated Major-General Dr. Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa and commended the continuous medical and therapeutic advancements and the sustained healthcare progress witnessed by the RMS.
The meeting highlighted the importance of the Royal Medical Services in advancing healthcare within the Bahrain Defence Force, ensuring that personnel receive top-tier medical care. The promotion of Dr. Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa Al Khalifa is seen as a significant step in recognizing the contributions and efforts made by the RMS in enhancing medical services.
