Manama: Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), met with senior BDF officers. Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff, and Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Advisor for Financial and Technical Affairs, attended the meeting.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Commander-in-Chief and BDF commanders extended their gratitude and congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, for his keynote speech at the opening of the fourth session of the sixth legislative term of the Shura and Representatives Councils. They commended His Majesty's vision and directives for advancing Bahrain's development, under the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister.
Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed also expressed gratitude for His Majesty's praise of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince's leadership and of the efforts of His Highness Major-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander. He conveyed His Majesty the King's greetings to all BDF commanders and expressed pride in His Majesty's recognition of the role played by the defence and security forces in safeguarding Bahrain's stability.
The Commander-in-Chief affirmed that, under the leadership of His Majesty the King and with the support of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the BDF continues to serve as the nation's shield and protector, performing its duties with dedication and professionalism to ensure Bahrain's security and prosperity.
