Commander-in-Chief Engages with Senior Bahrain Defence Force Officers

Manama: Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), held a meeting with senior officers of the BDF. The meeting was attended by key figures including Lieutenant-General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, the Minister of Defence Affairs; Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the BDF; and Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Advisor for Financial and Technical Affairs at the BDF General Command.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Commander-in-Chief was updated on the ongoing development and modernisation efforts within the BDF. He highlighted that under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, the BDF is experiencing further advancements. This progress is attributed to comprehensive training programmes and strategic preparation plans.

The meeting underscored the BDF's commitment to maintaining high efficiency and readiness by outfitting all units with the latest weapons and defence systems. This ensures that the BDF continues to serve as a robust shield for the nation's achievements and capabilities.
