Commander-in-Chief Engages with New Zealand Defence Force Chief for Military Cooperation

Manama: Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), received Air Marshal Tony Davies, Chief of the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF), in a meeting focused on enhancing military collaboration between the two nations.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the BDF, was also present during the meeting. The Commander-in-Chief emphasized the strong bilateral ties between Bahrain and New Zealand, highlighting their ongoing development across various sectors.

A significant outcome of the meeting was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the BDF and the NZDF. This agreement is aimed at supporting and strengthening bilateral military relations, marking a step forward in the cooperation between both defense forces.
