Commander-in-Chief Commends Royal Medical Services at Inauguration Event

Manama: Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), received Major General Dr. Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Commander of Royal Medical Services (RMS). Major General Dr. Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa presented a commemorative gift to the Commander-in-Chief on the occasion of the inauguration of the Royal Medical Services Field Hospital and the opening of the Royal Medical Services Strategic Warehouse. The event coincided with the celebration of the 58th anniversary of the establishment of the BDF.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Commander-in-Chief commended the continuous medical and therapeutic development and the ongoing health progress achieved by the RMS. He added that the military hospital systems of BDF and its medical achievements contribute to achieving sustainable health development in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Commander-in-Chief emphasised that these accomplishments would not have been realised without the guidance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the continued support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister.
