Commander-in-Chief Briefs on BDF’s High Combat Readiness Amid Recent Hostile Attacks

Manama: Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander in Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), chaired a meeting with senior military officers, including Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff, and Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Advisor for Financial and Technical Affairs.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on the combat and military readiness levels of the BDF. Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed emphasized that under the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, all branches of the BDF maintain the highest levels of combat readiness and defensive preparedness.

The Commander-in-Chief highlighted the importance of maximum effort in military duties and praised the achievements of BDF personnel in supporting the Kingdom's defense system. He recognized the air defense personnel for their role in responding to Iranian attacks on February 28, where the BDF successfully intercepted and destroyed hostile aerial targets, including missiles and drones aimed at civilian sites.

Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed credited the BDF's success to the continued support from HM the King and HRH Deputy Supreme Commander, noting that the personnel's dedication, sacrifice, and professionalism have been pivotal in defending the nation. The Commander-in-Chief observed that the BDF's branches and units have shown commitment and professionalism across all operational fronts, supported by sound planning and strong military doctrine, which have enabled them to fulfill their national duties effectively.
