Manama: The Ministry of Interior announced that the Coast Guard Command had carried out a joint exercise with Bahrain LNG to enhance response capabilities in handling emergency scenarios. The exercise included components involving field drills on emergency response mechanisms, the use of communication systems, and coordination with the company to ensure the timely exchange of information.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Coast Guard Command noted that such exercises are conducted under strategic plans aimed at developing security and operational capabilities, ensuring the effectiveness of procedures to counter potential threats, protecting vital facilities, and safeguarding lives and property. The command added that the exercises form part of a series of regular training programmes carried out in cooperation with various national entities to enhance readiness levels and reinforce the maritime security system.
