Manama: The Ministry of Works has announced that construction activities for the Bahrain International Airport (BIA) Access Improvement Project will require the closure of several key lanes. The affected areas include the left-turn lanes from Khalifa Al Kabeer Highway toward Bahrain International Airport (north) and from Khalifa Al Kabeer Highway toward Arad Highway.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the slip lane from Arad Highway that leads to Khalifa Al Kabeer Highway in the direction of the airport (north) will also be closed. To facilitate continued traffic flow, alternative routes will be provided for motorists.
The closures are scheduled to commence on Friday, November 21, 2025, and will last for a duration of three months. Road users are urged to adhere to traffic rules to ensure the safety of all travelers during this period.
