Manama: Cirque du Soleil's internationally renowned production, Corteo, is set to make its debut in Bahrain as part of the Kingdom's Eid al-Fitr holiday celebrations. The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) announced that the show will be held at Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) from March 22-28, in collaboration with Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Sara Ahmed Buhiji, CEO of BTEA, expressed her enthusiasm for Bahrain being selected as the first destination on Cirque du Soleil's Gulf tour. She noted that Corteo offers an engaging experience for families and emphasizes the Kingdom's commitment to advancing its Tourism Strategy 2022-2026. The collaboration with Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre aims to enhance Bahrain's status as a premier cultural and entertainment hub in the region.
Damian Bush, CEO of Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre, remarked that Corteo blurs the line between dream and reality, highlighting their role in bringing the performance to Bahrain.
