Manama:The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Bahrain, in collaboration with the King Sejong Institute, organized an event to celebrate Chuseok, the traditional Korean harvest festival, while also commemorating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Choi Byoung-sun, the Korean Ambassador to Bahrain, highlighted the significance of Chuseok as a time for gratitude and family celebration. He emphasized the special importance of this year's event due to its alignment with the diplomatic milestone between the two nations.
The celebration included a variety of cultural activities designed to introduce visitors to Korean heritage and traditions. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in traditional harvest games, try on the Korean hanbok, and watch live taekwondo performances. The event also saw participation from local businesses involved in Korean culture.
This annual event is part of a broader initiative to enhance cultural exchange between Bahrain and Korea.
