Tianjin: Chinese President Xi Jinping stated that the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) now holds "greater responsibility" in maintaining regional peace and stability, as well as in enhancing the development and prosperity of its member nations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, President Xi made these remarks at the SCO Summit hosted in Tianjin, a northern city in China, which saw the participation of 20 world leaders. During the welcome banquet, President Jinping emphasized the summit's role in building consensus among participating countries and invigorating collaborative efforts.
