China Unveils Nuclear Triad for First Time in Parade

Beijing: China showcased its land, sea, and air-based strategic forces as a nuclear triad for the first time during Wednesday's V-Day military parade. The display featured the JingLei-1 air-launched long-range missile, the JuLang-3 submarine-launched intercontinental missile, the DongFeng-61 land-based intercontinental missile, and a new variant of the DongFeng-31 intercontinental missile.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the parade marked a significant moment in China's military history as it unveiled its nuclear triad capabilities publicly. Xinhua News Agency described the systems as central to safeguarding China's sovereignty and national dignity.
