Beijing: China expressed readiness to enhance cooperation with Russia in the energy sector to support global energy security and sustainable development during the 22nd meeting of the China-Russia Energy Cooperation Committee, held in Beijing.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Ding Xuexiang, Vice Premier of China, said energy cooperation stands as a model of mutually beneficial partnership between the two countries, noting tangible achievements in major joint projects. He called for deeper integration in renewable energy, hydrogen, and energy storage to support the green transition.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak highlighted the fruitful results of bilateral energy cooperation and reiterated Russia’s commitment to expanding the partnership and developing ongoing projects to further strengthen bilateral relations.
