Kuwait city: Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), led the Kingdom of Bahrain's delegation to the 11th consultative meeting of the Supreme Military Committee of the Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), held in the State of Kuwait.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening collective defence policies and enhancing military coordination among GCC member states. Participants discussed mechanisms to support the vision and directives of Their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the GCC states, aiming to advance more effective steps toward building collective defence capabilities within a unified strategic framework that safeguards Gulf security.
The committee also reviewed several military topics and joint projects intended to support shared defence objectives among the GCC nations.
