Chief of Staff Inaugurates 18th Joint Command and Staff Course

Manama: Under the patronage of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the BDF, attended the opening ceremony of the 18th Joint Command and Staff Course, which took place at the Royal Command, Staff, and National Defence College.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Lt. Gen. Al Nuaimi highlighted the continuous progress of the institution under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and Prime Minister.

He also commended the follow-up of the Commander-in-Chief and the participation of officers from allied countries, emphasising the strong ties and comprehensive cooperation with these countries.

The Chief of Staff commended the quality of the training programme, noting its role in equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary for leadership, operations, and administration, fostering research, development, and creative thinking.

He noted that the course enables officers to obtain a Master's degree in Military Sciences, an advanced academic qualification that enhances their ability to contribute to the development of military specialisations within the armed forces.

He conveyed the best wishes and regards of the Commander-in-Chief to the participants.
