Riyadh: Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff, attended the World Defense Show 2026 organised by the General Authority for Military Industries in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Lt. Gen. Al Nuaimi toured several participating pavilions and reviewed the latest advanced military systems and equipment on display.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Lt. Gen. Al Nuaimi met with Lieutenant General Fayyad bin Hamed Al Ruwaili, Chief of General Staff of the Saudi Arabian Armed Forces. During their meeting, they reviewed the existing defence and military cooperation between the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) and the Saudi Arabian Armed Forces and discussed means to enhance it across various domains.
The World Defense Show supports and develops local military industries in Saudi Arabia in line with international quality and specification standards. It also contributes to transferring and localising the production of military components through partnerships with global companies, and showcases the latest technological developments in land, naval, air, space, and security defence domains.
