Manama: Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Police, attended the graduation ceremony of several specialised courses involving personnel from the Ministry of Interior and the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF). The courses were organised by the VIP Protection Training Centre at the Directorate of Protocols and VIP Protection, with the presence of numerous senior officers and officials from the ministry.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Lt. Gen. Al Hassan commended the support and attention extended by General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, towards developing human capital across various domains of work. He stated that this initiative is part of the ministry's development and modernisation strategy, implemented through plans and programmes aimed at raising training standards and enhancing joint cooperation with the departments implementing the courses.
Lt. Gen. Al Hassan highlighted that the courses included lectures and practical applications designed to refine participants' skills and equip them with new capabilities to meet the demands of the working environment. He noted that this approach positively reflects on the efficient performance of duties and responsibilities, striving to achieve the highest levels of quality in line with approved professional standards.
He also expressed appreciation to those involved for their efforts in organisation and training, commending the work delivered and urging them to continue their progress and exert further efforts to enhance training performance and achieve the desired objectives.
Lt. Gen. Al Hassan honoured the course participants, wishing them success in their academic and professional careers. He also conducted an inspection tour during which he reviewed the readiness of the Directorate of Protocols and VIP Protection camp.
