Cebarco Secures Sponsorship Role for Crown Prince’s Cup and Bahrain Turf Series

Manama: Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club's (REHC) has signed a sponsorship agreement with Cebarco, designating it as the official sponsor of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince's Horseracing Cup for the 2024-2025 season and a platinum sponsor of the Bahrain Turf Series.

According to Bahrain News Agency, this agreement aims to strengthen partnerships with various companies and institutions, aligning with efforts to enhance key seasonal races and international championships hosted by Bahrain. The sponsorship was formalized by Yusuf Osama Buheji, CEO of REHC, and Dr. Khalid Mohammed Abdulrahim, Chairman of Cebarco's board and CEO of KAR Group, witnessed by Mohammed Khalid Abdulrahim, Executive Director of Cebarco and KAR Group.

Buheji emphasized Cebarco's significant role in sponsoring key horse races and championships, notably HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister's Cup for the second consecutive season, along with the Bahrain Turf Series. This sponsorship supports the success of major events and international horse races in Bahrain. He highlighted the Club's commitment to enhancing partnerships with Cebarco in various cooperation and support areas related to the horseracing sector.

He also pointed out the ongoing successes in hosting international championships and the positive impact of launching night races. These efforts will further boost REHC's initiatives in expanding partnerships by attracting more sponsoring companies and institutions to support initiatives aimed at advancing horseracing in Bahrain.

Dr. Khalid Abdulrahim expressed pride in Cebarco's continued sponsorship of the Crown Prince's Horseracing Cup for two consecutive years. He added that the sponsorship underscores Cebarco's dedication to supporting equestrian sports and horseracing in Bahrain, which is experiencing significant development, both locally and internationally, under the leadership of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of REHC's High Committee.
