Manama: This week's BD 70 million issue of Government Treasury Bills has been oversubscribed by 114.29%. These bills, which carry a maturity period of 91 days, are issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. According to Bahrain News Agency, the issue date for these treasury bills is set for 5th August 2026, with a maturity date of 4th November 2026. The weighted average rate of interest for this issue stands at 5.29%, slightly lower than the 5.32% recorded in the previous issue on 29th July 2026. The average price for this issue was approximately 98.682%, with the lowest accepted price being 98.604%. This marks issue No.2133 (ISIN BH0001887965) of Government Treasury Bills. With the conclusion of this issue, the total outstanding value of Government Treasury Bills has reached BD 2.110 billion.
